Hart
President
Curtis Hart is president of the o3 group, an
Austin-based interactive agency combining proven methodology,
business intelligence, and bulletproof technology to deliver
innovative, user-centered experiences that drive sales, boost
brand awareness and meet client's goals. The group consists of
marketing experts and technologists in Austin, Texas and Denver,
Colorado with development units in India and Colorado. As president,
Curt's business philosophy has always focused on creating value
for the client and has led to an impressive portfolio. Some of
the o3 group's clients include Robert Rodriguez's Troublemaker
Studios, Qwest Communications, Thayer Media, and Vicorp IVR Systems.
Solutions and integrated marketing programs from the o3 group
reflect the individual nature of such clients and create market
penetration in an intense economy.
Prior to the o3 group, Curt founded and was
president of Colorado Idea Net, a successful application development
company in Denver,
Colorado. At Colorado Idea Net, Curt grew the company an average
of 100% per year and in 2000 and Curt managed the sale of the
company to individual investors. Colorado Idea Net worked extensively
with universities and through a thoughtful process of defining
features and security sets helped Jones International University
become the first accredited, fully online university. Colorado
Idea Net also worked with Great American Country Music Television
to help their market penetration in the cable television music
industry.
The entrepreneurial spirit started early for
Curt in his family grocery in rural Vermont. Going to the store
after school and
helping with the 5:00 rush, Curt developed his work ethic,
and his understanding of good customer service and solid
salesmanship. He learned bitter lessons in dealing with larger,
stronger
competitors,
and how to put a chink in their armor. He met many less fortunate
people, people who could not read or write, people who could
not afford food, and some that resorted to stealing. Curt
never forgot those people and has developed a deep commitment
to
the community. He has worked with several not-for-profit
agencies on integrated marketing programs and e-business practices.
Curt
has provided low-cost or no-cost solutions to Denver Rescue
Mission, Out Youth and Environmental Defense to name a few.
Curt came to Texas three years ago to be closer
to his family. He enjoys nothing more than poking fun at scary
movies with
his youngest niece, discussing linguistics over coffee
with his oldest
niece, or having a LAN party with his two nephews and oldest
brother. Curt gets his hands dirty by pouring concrete
countertops, refinishing old dwellings and occasionally re-wiring
them.
He's also has a growing interest in steel work, Texas politics,
Tex-Mex,
and all things south of the border.
